  • Q How should amplifier power match speaker wattage?

    Amplifier power should be selected according to the speaker's rated power, impedance, system configuration, and required headroom. In professional audio systems, sufficient headroom helps reduce clipping during signal peaks. Buyers should evaluate RMS power rather than relying only on peak wattage.

  • Q What is the difference between Class AB, Class D, and Class H amplifiers?

    A Class AB: Traditional design with good sound quality but lower efficiency. Ideal for studios and critical listening. 
    Class D: High efficiency, compact size, and less heat. Perfect for live sound and installations. 
    Class H: Improved efficiency over Class AB with better power handling. Often used in touring and high-power applications. 

  • Q What does "bridging an amplifier" mean?
